Job Title: Cybersecurity Intern (Paid; Remote)

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: 30-40 hours/week (flexible)

We re seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Intern to join our client s team and gain hands-on experience in protecting their organization s digital assets and information.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents, investigating potential threats, and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and address potential security risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to recommend proactive measures and enhancements to our security posture.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies.
• Familiarity with network security, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Although not strictly required, a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related fields is highly appreciated.
